In summary? Why bother benchmarking an SSD? What are you going to do with the numbers anyways? Many websites review SSDs and from there you can find all the data you need. This is a great video but not enough people realize the harm to their SSD. And for what purpose exactly? That's the biggest question here. Why the need to see test results. The SSD is going to be unreal fast. Some mechanical drives might need some testing because of issues. But an SSD? I would argue this test provides zero tangible information. Meaningless.

Samsug is cheeting everywhere. Thats why I buy their products very rare. And always when I buy something from them I regret it. Lately bougt 512gig pro ultra with the adapter and again samsung shocked me. The card is fast as specified 130/200 and card reader was cheep but those games they are playing are not nice.

The lertosen ones from amazon sound bad, i have a couple. have the ugreen and xumee ones they sound great in comparison and do 384khz/32bit.

wooooow...i was having such a hard time with the .conf commands lmfao.....to save and exit you need to hold down shit then press colon then pres w then press enter to save lmfao...same with exit i beleive cant remember now..hold shift press colon then q then enter.....im a bit slow i guess hahahah...but thank you bro 2 years later and this helped me as well from having to buy a freakin nic lol...liked

Just witnessed this first hand. I have a sandisk extreme pro microsd and lexar silver plus , both in theory faster than the samsung, but on the samsung adapter limited at around 90mbyte/s whereas the samsung pro plus sd card is 140mbytes/s read 116write.

i have a live gamer portable 2 plus and i updated it with the drivers on the website, i didn't use it much but it worked. but after getting a new pc the audio just sounds cursed. i don't know how to explain it, it sounds like a really bad microphone is picking up the audio from the other side of the room (which btw is not the case, the mic is off) and i haven't been able to fix it whatsoever. it's barely used too so no idea what the issue is. maybe i need certain drivers or to update it again. i also used the avermedia software, not obs and another thing is, i bought it to use it without my PC, but that feature just didn't work for some reason. it always just gave me an error and there was an option in the software that i think i was supposed to turn off but every time i turned it off it turned itself back on, I didn't use the micro SD cards that they specified either so that may have caused an issue. i need to get back to troubleshooting this thing cuz i really wanna use it or at least sell it in a good condition and get some of my money back, it was NOT cheap :p

I have the exact opposite problem. My Kingston Mobile Lite Plus does not achieve over 100 MB/s with Samsung EVO Plus, Pro Plus or Pro Ultimate cards... Only the Samsung Reader does... Any thoughts why?

Those are megabytes per second, not megabits per second. That is an 8x difference in speed.

Will this resolve issues with RealTek 1Gb onboard hardware or is it specific to 2.5Gb? Mine will sometimes handle 60MB/s file accesses for hours before failing, and at other times it will fail after 5 minutes and my NAS disappears from the network. I just picked up an Intel NIC, but would love to be able to resolve my problem by just adding 2 tunable entries.

Even when I select H264 for quick sync acceleration, I'm getting the HEVC error in Shudder video converter and DVD Fab. But Quick Sync works fine in Vegas Pro 19.

I have that Kingston adapter and it's really fast, reading all kinds of cards including Samsung's (I don't have any Pro Plus cards but I do have several Evo Plus and Selects). I'm looking to get the new version of the Samsung Pro Plus 512GB card that has a rated 180/130 speed, but haven't decided if it's worth spending a bit more for the version that comes with their adapter since I already have and like the Kingston one. Sounds like it would be a waste of money, especially since I'd usually be using the card directly in a device like a phone or tablet, or a desktop or laptop with a built-in fast MicroSD reader, and already have the Kingston reader, which I rarely need to use these days. Any other reason to get the version with the Samsung reader, before I place my order?
